Synopsis

Shelter (Under Construction) is a site-responsive sound and spatial installation that foregrounds the city's everyday movement. Field recordings gathered on site form an evolving soundscape that shifts with time of day and environment. The experience is anchored by Nathan Yong's Fence Bench, a quiet place to sit and listen. Rather than escape, the work offers attention - revealing rhythm, texture, and presence within the city's constant motion.

Mervin Wong, Artist, Singaporean & Nathan Yong, Artist, Singaporean.

-The Public Art installation is located outdoors and is free and open to the public.

-Refreshments will be available at the venue. Be prepared to present a valid photo ID upon request to purchase or consume alcohol.
