Synopsis

The Earth Laughs in Flowers is a highly anticipated solo exhibition by Dawn Ng. Featuring a suite of 12 large-scale paintings, the works function as meticulously-crafted time capsules of each month of 2025. They are made with pigment and earth frozen into ice blocks, which are then shattered and sown onto wooden canvases. The exhibition held at Singapore Repertory Theatre transforms the black-box space into a dramatic, immersive experience.
