Toa Payoh Odyssey: Uniting through Recycling

Toa Payoh’s Odyssey: Uniting Through Recycling consists of The Map, The Workshop and The Showcase which is an accumulation of eco-friendly resolutions and decorated bottles by the community that will be showcased at SAFRA Toa Payoh from Jan to Feb 2022.

For the month of Dec 2021, join the artists for The Workshop where you learn how to upcycle your 1.5L plastic bottles to illustrate the strength on how we come together as a community to save the environment. Workshops are free of charge and will require registration. Your final art pieces will be consolidated to be part of The Showcase. Participants are also encouraged to submit an eco-friendly pledge to reduce single-use plastics. These post-it notes will be pasted onto The Map which is a blueprint of Toa Payoh. This map will serve as a symbol of strength that merges our collective efforts and is necessary in uniting the community to address the important issue of the environmental crisis that the world is facing.
