Synopsis

Kim Association presents Alliance, the first Southeast Asian solo exhibition by Berlin- and Wuyi-based artist Shuang Li. Rooted in the American storm-chasing phenomenon, her video installation traces extreme weather and digital media platforms that have shaped her transnational worldview and practice. Through algorithmic forces, non-spaces, and uneasy climate futures, the work speaks directly to Singapore's condition as a highly optimized yet precarious urban environment.
