Synopsis

Keiko Moriuchi brings her distinctive visual language to Singapore through richly layered canvases built with multiple applications of Liquitex paint and signature gold leaf. Tactile and almost sculptural, her works invite slow, meditative looking and reflect a lifelong pursuit of protection, purification, and transcendence. Infused with sacred geometries and mythological symbolism, the works radiate Moriuchi’s artistic energy, bridging Japanese Gutai avant-garde traditions with post-modern experimental practice.
