Synopsis
Leila Shirazi stages Feast with Divs, a performative dining work where food becomes a cosmology. Inspired by the Divs—mythical beings in Persian miniature painting, unruly yet deeply human—the feast reimagines what they might eat in the shadow of the oil palm. Colours, textures, and ingredients echo both seed and plantation, blurring beauty and toxicity while asking what is consumed, and what remains.
