Synopsis

Coloured Continuum features a collection of vibrant coloured late works as a heartfelt tribute to Lim, celebrating the ebullient persona that shaped his later practice. Eight pieces are particularly significant: first conceived by the artist in the 1970s and 1980s, these works were later reawakened by Lim in the 2020s, enlivening the compositions with melodic infusions of colour that breathe renewed life into the black-and-white portrayals of early Singapore.
