"Allure of Seeing Beyond" at Chimichanga features David Leung, a pioneer of "symmetrical pareidolia." He transforms images of food - from dumplings to desserts - into captivating digital beasts using mirror images. This technique taps into pareidolia, where the mind perceives faces in patterns. Each piece is a surprising Rorschach test on a plate, revealing the monstrous within the delicious and inviting a playful, profound rediscovery of the everyday.
