Synopsis

Featuring works by 6 artists working in drawing, painting, photography, printing, sound, sculpture and installation with a participatory component, the exhibition explores the boundaries of how contemporary portraiture can be expressed. The works deal with notions of identity; self and others: authenticity and artifice; and questions image making in the portraiture genre.
