Transmissions from the Wayang Spaceship: A Singapore Art Week special featuring performances by Ming Wong and Syndicate

As the sun sets over Singapore’s container seaport, artist Ming Wong and the audio-visual collective Syndicate mark the run up to the Lunar New Year with an evening incantation of voice, music, light and electric dreams. On this phantasmic night before the ‘Wayang Spaceship’, a futuristic Cantonese opera stage has landed at the edge of the Singapore Art Museum. As part of Transmissions from the Wayang Spaceship, food and drinks by Balestier Market Collective will be available for purchase. Bring your own foldable chair if you like!

This programme is part of ‘Wayang Spaceship’, commissioned by The Everyday Museum, a public art initiative of Singapore Art Museum, with the support of Sun Venture. Details of this programme may be subject to change since time of print.
