The Art of Dreams – Remember Your Dreams by Cyril Lancelin

‘Remember your dreams’, by French artist and architect Cyril Lancelin, is a larger-than-life installation commissioned by Porsche under its new art initiative, “The Art of Dreams”.

Measuring 10 x 12.4 x 7.6 metres (L x W x H), this immersive work is composed of air-filled elements and creates a surreal environment that invites visitors to step out of their everyday reality and remember their dreams. Lancelin chose this color after being inspired by a Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 (model year 1973), as he felt that it was perfect for creating an illusion and making the installation feel unreal.

The artwork was first shown in Paris in October 2021, and Singapore is its first stop in Asia. Porsche’s “The Art of Dreams” initiative is a global series of interactive art and design installations across major creative metropolises. By commissioning immersive artworks that explore the motif of dreams from different conceptual angles, Porsche aims to provide inspiration and positive drive to audiences worldwide to pursue their own dreams.

The Same Side of the Moon Always Faces Earth is a visual representation of the act of crossing a body of water to get to a specific destination, inspired by the migrant stories of seafarers who made their way to Singapore by sea for a better life many decades ago.
