The 35th National Huichun Calligraphy Convention 2018 第35届全国挥春大会

This is The Chinese Calligraphy Society of Singapore’s annual national traditional event to welcome a new spring and celebrate the Lunar New Year. The Guest-of-Honour for the event is Mr. Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information, and Health.

At this event, both the young and old come together to write New Year greetings and well wishes for themselves, their families and members of the public. It is often a casual family carnival with participants from all walks of life, including more foreign residents in recent years. This will be a good festival platform to cultivate the ties of closeness among the various communities.
