After two years of touring the heartlands, Textures 2023 returns to The Arts House for 'Arrived Home', the third edition of the Singapore Literature (SingLit) Festival organised by Arts House Limited and directed by Jason Wee. Textures 2023: Arrived Home is an invitation to consider the journeys home and examine ideas of domesticity and belonging. What is it like to find familiarity in the unfamiliarity and vice versa? What kinds of people and families do we think of when it comes to home?

Comprising over 30 engaging activities such as poetry recitals, art installations, book bazaars and podcasts, it offers an experience of local literature in fun and accessible ways. Highlights include Samantha Scott-Blackhall's 'A Novel Idea', a light installation created by architect Vince Ong, and inspired by Yeow Kai Chai's award-winning book 'One To The Dark Tower Comes', and an exhibition by artists Fajrina Razak and Priscilla Quek in collaboration with The Substation.
