Travel through time and through scenes of Singapore – both past and present – in the museum’s new digital installation,
Moving Memories II, which features local mural artist Yip Yew Chong’s life-sized murals. We invite you to imagine yourselves in the busy Chinatown market; strolling along the drinks and flower stalls; stopping by the letter writer’s table or the Kampong Gelam shop adorned with rattan goods and carpets; travelling to the shops in Changi, or peeking into the ticketing hall of Odeon cinema where the kacang puteh man is seated. This is the second installation of an earlier work,
Moving Memories, which was presented in 2017 and is viewable on YouTube.
Accompanying this installation is a conversational guide suitable for senior organisations or care partners of persons with dementia to adapt and engage seniors in conversations.
