The second edition of Islands Time-Based Art Festival (ITBA) presents works of 20 emerging and established artists surrounding the theme, 'Just in Time'. It calls for immediate and urgent responses contesting the sense of time in motion.
A festival initiated by artists, ITBA focuses on live artworks and practices that are otherwise ephemeral or transitory. In keeping with its multi-disciplinary character, the featured performing artists reflect a wide range of artistic practices and traditions, including performance art, dance, sound art, theatre, and more. A creative platform that encourages and incubates open-ended, investigative and unconventional artistic explorations, ITBA emphasises the importance of building connections and sharing knowledge through a series of artist-run workshops.
