Explorers of Sentosa by Thomas Dambo
On the island of Sentosa, discover world-acclaimed recycling artist Thomas Dambo's giant sculptures in Southeast Asia for the first time. Crafted in collaboration with Sentosa Development Corporation, 'Explorers of Sentosa' is a series of four awe-inspiring giant sculptures largely constructed from reclaimed materials such as wooden pallets and crates, and decorated with accessories made of plastic waste.
Each with a unique story to tell, the giants are a testament to how discarded objects can be turned into eye-catching works of art that inspire audiences to do their part for the Earth. 'Explorers of Sentosa' join Thomas’s 97 other sculptures worldwide, in line with the artist’s vision of creating art that will encourage people to explore and create new adventures in nature while demonstrating that "trash" can be turned into something beautiful and unique.
