The concept for this art installation is based on the use of the simple geometric form of spheres to relate to day-to-day objects of play that are amplified into a larger-than-life sculpture, evoking a sense of awe and excitement.

The objective is to create a visually captivating installation where visitors can reminisce the evolution of Downtown East from a humble resort to a carnival theme park, to a one-stop lifestyle destination it is now. 

Just as how a child eagerly anticipates the random coloured gumballs to be dispensed, Downtown East is a place that excites and brings a smile to all who visit. It has always been a place of fun, celebration, and vibrancy in the East.
