Jemima Stehli, known for her performative photographic works, will be showing a group of new large scale black and white photographs that have been painted over by her five-year-old son. Some of the photographs are Stehli pregnant, others are landscape close-ups made in the years before and since his birth.

Stehli collaborates to both disrupt and generate the image. In these new works, the bold and irreverent painting over the surface of the photograph describes the proximity, complexity and unpredictability of this living relationship and of the act of making.
