First launched during Singapore Art Week 2020, Art Encounters is a travelling artist’s studio and gallery housed within repurposed shipping containers to bring art to unique sites around Singapore. For its third edition, Art Encounters returns to Orchard Road as part of Singapore Art Week 2021, featuring a unique Augmented Reality (AR) experience by tech artist Eugene Soh a.k.a DUDE.

The discovery of Korean artist Jieun Park’s paintings are akin to discovering new cities and places. At first glance, her abstract paintings may seem foreign. Yet upon further inspection, you start to experience the vibrance and uniqueness of each city portrayed in her artworks. Jieun Park’s own personal attachments to each city are evident in her paintings.
