Synopsis

YOU ARE HELD HERE IN THIS MOMENT and YOU WILL NOT FEEL THIS WAY FOREVER are companion pieces that explore text and the architecture of public space. In each piece, fragments of text unfold over vast open waters. Placed on monumental digital screens on two landmark buildings, the works engage with the affect of advertising, but also offer a shared moment of tender contemplation amidst the flux of the city.

Part of Singapore Art Week, Urban Screens is presented by Objectifs, supported by the National Arts Council and Plan B Media.
