Synopsis

With the support from Tampines North Community Arts and Culture Club (CACC), Wishes in the Wind is a multi-disciplinary community art exhibition that offers an intimate look into the hopes and aspirations of everyday people. This exhibition showcases hand-crafted wish flags, lovingly created by Tampines residents, paired with immersive soundscapes featuring ambient sounds of the neighbourhood and the heartfelt voices of participants sharing their dreams for the future. Filled with personal messages & symbols, the wish flags flutter in the wind, spreading their well wishes as far and wide as the wind would carry them. Share your dreams with us, make some introspective artworks and add to our growing art installation! What are your wishes for the future?
