Synopsis

An explosion of creativity and vitality invades Mucciaccia Gallery Singapore with ‘Vibrations: The Energy of Contemporary Art’, an exhibition bringing together five international artists whose works pulsate with energy, colour and innovation. From January 14, 2025 to February 28, 2025, the public is invited to immerse themselves in a kaleidoscope of styles and techniques, from performance art to painting, in a stimulating dialogue between diverse artistic expressions.

The exhibition highlights five visionary artists, each contributing distinct energy to the showcase. From performance art to abstract creations, it celebrates the transformative power of contemporary art. Shozo Shimamoto, a Gutai pioneer, embodies raw energy through documented performances and bold gestures, often throwing colour onto canvas. Philip Colbert’s surreal pop-art creations feature vibrant, irony-laden works filled with anthropomorphic lobsters and pop culture references. Jeffrey Kroll’s abstract compositions explore emotional depth through vivid colours and gestural techniques, resonating deeply with audiences. Frank Holliday’s dynamic brushstrokes bring vitality to his canvases, rooted in abstract expressionism and brimming with immediacy. Cristiano Pintaldi’s precise, geometric paintings shimmer with light and colour, immersing viewers in a fascinating interplay of form and abstraction. Vibrations offers a rare opportunity to experience the pulsating energy of contemporary art, showcasing five extraordinary artists redefining the art scene.
