Synopsis
Featuring ten Filipino artists — Oca Villamiel, Pete Jimenez, Alfredo & Isabel Aquilizan, Elaine Navas, Manuel Ocampo, Dominic Mangila, Russ Ligtas, Eisa Jocson, and Leeroy New — the exhibition reimagines Amado V. Hernandez’s “sliver of sky” as a metaphor for hope, memory, and identity. Through painting, sculpture, and performance, fragments of the past illuminate the living fields of the present.
