Synopsis

Temporary Obsessions speaks to the small departures that drift away from mastery and the perfected - brief infatuations, speculative detours, experiments that flirt with failure. These pursuits may appear as side projects, collaborations, half-formed ideas or quiet tests, yet they share a common trait: the charged, embodied moment of making.

With this premise, invited staff, students, and alumni of the McNally School of Fine Arts at LASALLE engage with the site of a previous exhibition at the Alliance Française Gallery, where remnants and traces form part of the space.
