Synopsis

Salt Tongues / Far Shores Near is an exhibition continuing a cross-cultural exchange between artists from Singapore and Japan, following their 2024 residency in Onomichi. Shifting from sound to sensation, it explores embodied connection, porous boundaries, and emotional resonance. Anchored in the sea as a shared environment and the act of crossing into unfamiliar territory, the works open up a space for dialogue, movement, and meaning across difference and distance.
