Synopsis

The SG60 Pioneer Artists Exhibition commemorates Singapore’s 60-year artistic journey by honoring pioneering artists whose works shaped the nation’s cultural identity. Showcasing masterpieces from the Nanyang Style to modernist expressions, the exhibition highlights the evolution of Singapore’s visual language. Through the interplay of tradition and innovation, it presents a dialogue between first-generation masters and contemporary successors, exploring distinctive materials, color tones, and the profound fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics.
