Synopsis

JEON BYEONG SAM: Rumination converts the colors, shapes, and proportions of national flags into sequences of moving abstractions projected on CHIJMES. Familiar patterns break down and recombine to show change and continuity. The work allows viewers to follow the movement of forms and colors and consider how elements from different cultures relate. It presents a visual system that highlights transformation, interaction, and the relationships between images and meaning.
