Synopsis

Liminal Relic, a solo exhibition by Kemalezedine, explores the shifting space between tradition and modernity in Balinese art. Using elements like Kamasan painting and ceremonial symbols, he reinterprets them as living forms rather than static relics. Fragmented and layered, his works reflect how traditions evolve over time. The exhibition questions the role of cultural symbols today and repositions Balinese painting within a contemporary artistic context.
