Synopsis

The third installation in the Material Intelligence series returns with a duo presentation by Bagus Pandega and Elia Nurvista. Exploring Indonesia's extractive economies through materials bound to plantations, mining, and the promises of electric futures, their kinetic, multimedia, and sculptural works probe the entanglement of extraction, colonial legacies, and the climate crisis. Together, they envision futures shaped by these materials against a backdrop of uncertainties.
